🔥 Russian Ambassador Calls Out U.S. Silence on Nord Stream Blasts 🔥
Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, has openly criticized Washington for its silence regarding the Nord Stream pipeline explosions. 😲
Speaking on Friday, Antonov stated that the U.S. is \"implicitly legitimizing terrorism\" by not commenting on the bombings of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines. 🚫🛢️
\"They want everyone to forget the inconvenient statements made by U.S. leaders about the importance of destroying the pipelines,\" Antonov told Russia's TASS News Agency. \"They aim to shift the blame entirely onto their Ukrainian puppets, although they are fully aware that Kyiv will not take a single step without a go-ahead from Washington.\"
Antonov noted that the refusal of U.S. officials to comment on this high-profile topic is \"quite telling,\" adding that they are taking a \"favorable position for themselves as outside observers.\"
He further accused U.S. officials of not lifting \"a finger to ensure that the truth about the events from almost two years ago comes to light.\" Antonov warned, \"America is giving carte blanche for similar crimes in the future.\"
The ambassador's remarks come after Germany's federal prosecutor general issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian suspect believed to be involved in the bombing of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea. 🇩🇪🔎
In September 2022, the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines suffered severe damage due to explosions in the territorial waters of Sweden and Denmark. Before the incident, these pipelines were crucial in transporting natural gas from Siberia to Germany and other European countries. 🌊💥
