On Friday, China's Special Representative on Eurasian Affairs, Li Hui, visited South Africa to exchange views on the Ukraine situation with South African officials. 🤝 Li is on a mission, traveling through Brazil, South Africa, and Indonesia for the fourth round of shuttle diplomacy. ✈️
During his visit, Li met with Zane Dangor, Director-General of South Africa's Department of International Relations and Cooperation, and Adv Nokukhanya Jele, legal adviser to President Cyril Ramaphosa. They had some deep conversations about cooling down the crisis. 💬
Li highlighted that the six common understandings reached by China and Brazil on a political settlement of the crisis have received thumbs up from over 110 countries! 👍 China's all set to boost communication and coordination with South Africa, aiming to build international consensus based on these understandings. 🏗️
