China Urges Philippines to Withdraw Ships from Xianbin Jiao 🚢

Hey there, adventure seekers! 🌊 There's a wave of news coming from the South China Sea that's making splashes around the world.

On Friday, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense urged the Philippines to immediately withdraw its personnel and ships illegally stationed at Xianbin Jiao, part of China's Nansha Qundao.

According to spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang, the actions of the Philippines are creating new tensions and undermining peace and stability in the region. \"Relevant actions of the Philippine side seriously violate China's sovereignty and the Declaration on the Conduct of the Parties in the South China Sea (DOC),\" Zhang stated during a regular press briefing.

The Chinese Coast Guard recently carried out tracking, monitoring, and control measures against the Philippines' attempts to transfer personnel and supplies to their ships stationed at Xianbin Jiao. Article 5 of the DOC, which both nations have agreed upon, stipulates that all parties should refrain from inhabiting the presently uninhabited islands and reefs in the South China Sea.

Zhang emphasized that China has indisputable sovereignty over Nansha Qundao, including Xianbin Jiao, and that their law enforcement operations are legitimate and justified.

This development adds another chapter to the ongoing dynamics of the South China Sea. 🌏 For the curious minds keeping an eye on international relations, this is definitely a space to watch!
