On Sunday, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, called on Taiwan to consider proposals from the public and shipping enterprises to get those planes and ships moving again! She specifically mentioned reopening the Pingtan-Taipei and Xiamen-Taichung maritime routes, along with restoring direct flights between Taiwan and 30 mainland destinations.
