Winter’s Early Arrival: Northern China Braces for Rain and Snow ❄️

Brrr! It's time to grab those cozy sweaters! Northern China is gearing up for a chilly surprise as temperatures are set to drop, bringing rain and even snow to some regions. ❄️☔

This Monday and Tuesday, cities across the northwestern part of the Chinese mainland could see temperatures dipping below zero degrees Celsius. According to Weather China, a website run by the China Meteorological Administration, a new cold front is sweeping in, and it's not messing around!

Over the weekend, eastern and central China got a taste of the chill, with temperatures plummeting by 6-10 degrees Celsius. Many cities experienced their coldest day since fall began, with daytime highs barely reaching 10 degrees Celsius. Talk about sweater weather!

In the northeast, Liaoning Province felt the freeze last week with temperature drops up to a whopping 20 degrees Celsius. To protect farmers from crop losses, the province is speeding up its autumn harvest. They've even started supplying heating services two days early to keep everyone warm and toasty.

Meanwhile, in northwest China's Gansu Province, some cities aren't taking any chances and have begun their heat supply a full 10 days ahead of previous years. Looks like winter is knocking on the door a bit sooner this year!

So, if you're in these areas, better bundle up and maybe plan some indoor activities. Hot cocoa, anyone? ☕
