Ocean Innovation Forum Sparks Waves in Hainan 🌊

The Forum on Marine Science and Technology Innovation for Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 just made a splash in Sanya City, Hainan Province, wrapping up last Sunday! 🌴🌊

Jointly organized by Hainan University, the UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia, and the University of Macao, the forum ran from August 23 to 25. The forum also hosted a cool Sino-British dialogue titled \"Addressing Climate and Human Challenges: The Future of Coastal Wetlands.\" Scholars shared insights on marine plants and seagrass beds—talk about getting to the root of things! 🌱🌿

International experts, researchers, and entrepreneurs chatted about marine open science, blue carbon assessments, coastal wetland conservation, and how AI can help restore marine ecosystems. The future of our oceans looks bright! 🤖🌊
