Heads up, folks! 🌬️ Typhoon Jongdari is making its move towards eastern China, promising some wild weather ahead. According to China's National Meteorological Center, this is the ninth typhoon of the year, and it's packing a punch! 💨
As of 5 a.m. Monday, Jongdari was spotted over the northwest Pacific Ocean, chilling about 435 kilometers east of Taipei City in Taiwan. With maximum wind speeds hitting 18 meters per second near its center, it's not messing around.
Traveling north at a brisk 15 to 20 kilometers per hour, Jongdari is set to enter the East China Sea. While it might not gain much more strength, it's expected to shake things up before gradually weakening after entering the Yellow Sea.
Between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, brace yourselves if you're in the eastern regions! The typhoon will bring strong gales to the waters east of Taiwan, the Taiwan Straits, the East China Sea, and along the coasts of Fujian and Zhejiang provinces. 🌊
Stay safe, keep an eye on the weather updates, and maybe hold onto your hats! 🎩
