🚂 Back on Track! Baoji-Chengdu Railway Reopens After Flood Woes

After a wild ride with Mother Nature, the iconic Baoji-Chengdu Railway is back in action! 🎉 Trains are rolling again through the stunning mountains of western China, bringing smiles and connectivity after 25 days of downtime.

In mid-July, heavy rainstorms threw a curveball at Baoji City in Shaanxi Province. 🌧️ Over July 16 and 17, the deluge caused more than 70 disruptions along the railway's path to Chengdu, the bustling capital of Sichuan Province. The floods even took down the historic Anhe Bridge on July 17, putting the brakes on train services.

But China's railway heroes weren't having it! 🛠️ China Railway Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. jumped into action with an epic repair mission. Picture teams of workers, excavators, cranes, and heavy machinery all teaming up to get the tracks back in shape.

Fast forward, and the railway, which first wowed travelers in 1958 as the country's first electrified line, is once again winding through the mountains at speeds up to 80 km/h. Whether you're shipping goods or hopping on for a passenger adventure, the Baoji-Chengdu Railway is ready to roll! 🚞
