🌊 Heavy rains turned into disaster as mudflows swept through southern Kyrgyzstan, leaving two people dead and three missing. The usually calm Ak-Buura River in Osh city couldn't handle the downpour, overflowing and causing chaos in its path.
The central market of Osh city was flooded, with goods and cars being swept away like toys. People scrambled to rooftops for safety, watching helplessly as the water surged through the streets. Five nearby villages in Osh Oblast were also hit hard, with homes and livelihoods submerged under the muddy waters.
Local media reports describe scenes straight out of an action movie, but sadly, this was all too real. Rescue teams are on the ground searching for the missing, while communities band together to recover from this unexpected catastrophe.
💔 Our thoughts go out to the people of Kyrgyzstan during this tough time. Stay tuned for more updates as the situation develops.
