Early Sunday, the city of Nanchang, the capital of east China's Jiangxi Province, was hit by severe convective weather that included high winds, thunderstorms, and heavy rains. 🌧️🌩️ Unfortunately, this extreme weather event claimed the lives of four people and left more than ten others injured.

The sudden storm caught many residents off guard, reminding us all of the unpredictable power of nature. Authorities are urging everyone to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions during these weather events.

China's meteorological authority has renewed a blue alert 🚨 for torrential rains in the northern parts of Jiangxi, as well as in parts of Anhui, Hubei, and Hunan provinces. Some areas may experience hourly precipitation reaching up to 70 millimeters!
