California Beaches Sparkle Again After Oil Spill Cleanup 🏖️✨

Hey beach lovers! 🌊 Great news from sunny California: the U.S. Coast Guard announced that no more oil sheen has been spotted off the coast of Huntington Beach after a spill last Friday. Thanks to quick action, our favorite surf spots are on the mend! 🏄‍♂️

Over the weekend, hardworking crews recovered about 322 liters of oil from the ocean. 💪 While tar balls are still washing up on the shore, cleanup teams are on it, having already removed around 363 kg of oily waste. So, if you're planning a beach day, they're making sure it's as pristine as ever! 🏖️

The spill was first noticed on Friday, about 4.5 km off the coast near two drilling platforms. An investigation is underway to find out what happened. 🕵️‍♀️

Beta Offshore, a part of Amplify Energy Corp, reported a potential spill from their offshore Platform Elly, leading them to shut down a pipeline. But Amplify Energy says they have no sign that the oil sheen was from their operations. 🤔

Stay tuned for more updates, and in the meantime, let's appreciate the efforts to keep our oceans clean! 🌊❤️
