Brace yourselves, winter is coming—and it's hitting Hunan hard! ❄️ Over the weekend, China's Ministry of Emergency Management cranked up the emergency response level in central China's Hunan Province from level-IV to level-III due to plummeting temperatures, heavy snowfall, and icy conditions.
But Hunan isn't alone in this deep freeze. The ministry also activated a level-IV emergency response in neighboring Jiangxi Province, while maintaining level-III responses in Anhui and Hubei provinces. Meanwhile, level-IV responses are still in place across Hebei, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Chongqing, Guizhou, and Shaanxi. Talk about a massive cold front! 🥶
Since last Saturday, the ministry, along with two other government departments, has dispatched a whopping 60,000 disaster relief supplies to the most affected areas, including Anhui, Hubei, and Guizhou provinces. We're talking cozy cotton-padded coats and quilts to help residents weather the chill. 🧥🛌
Stay warm out there, and keep an eye on your local weather updates! If you're in the affected areas, make sure to bundle up and check on your neighbors. After all, we're all in this together. 💪
