Sumud Flotilla Bound for Gaza Intercepted at Sea 🚢✊

Imagine a convoy of small ships slicing through the Mediterranean, loaded with food, medicine and a diverse crew of parliamentarians, lawyers and activists. This is the Sumud flotilla, a bold humanitarian mission headed toward Gaza.

But about 70 nautical miles off the coast, the flotilla was stopped by Israeli forces. On board was Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, among hundreds of international voices calling for relief in the region.

Here’s who was on deck:

  • International parliamentarians 🤝
  • Lawyers advocating for human rights ⚖️
  • Grassroots activists and volunteers 🌍
  • Greta Thunberg bringing her fierce climate and justice message 🌱

Despite the interception, the mission sent a powerful message: solidarity with Gaza’s residents and a demand for safe humanitarian corridors. It shows how young people and global citizens are joining forces, whether on the streets or at sea, to push for change.

Stay tuned as the story unfolds—this high-seas drama is far from over, and the world is watching.
