As the sun rose over Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, a new threat ignited—literally. 🔥 A fast-moving brush fire erupted, rapidly spreading across the dry landscape. In what felt like the blink of an eye, the blaze devoured over 500 acres (2.02 square kilometers) of trees and shrubs. Talk about a wildfire run amok!
According to Cal Fire, the fire currently has zero containment. For those unfamiliar, that means firefighters haven't yet been able to stop the spread—yikes! Evacuation orders have been rushed out to remote communities in the northern mountainous areas of LA. Residents are grabbing what they can and heading to safety, and we can't blame them.
