Super Typhoon Yagi Devastates Hainan Province 😢
Saturday was a tough day for the people of Hainan Province as Super Typhoon Yagi made not one, but two landfalls! 🌪️🌊
By 3 p.m., the typhoon had tragically claimed 4 lives and left 95 people injured. Over 526,100 residents have been affected by this powerful storm. It's the strongest typhoon to hit the Chinese mainland in autumn since the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1949.
Local authorities held a press conference to update everyone on the situation. Rescue teams are working around the clock to provide aid and support to those impacted.
