Welcome Home, Heroes!
After decades away, the remains of 25 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs who bravely fought in the Korean War have finally returned to their homeland. 🇨🇳❤️
The Republic of Korea (ROK) handed over the remains and personal belongings of these heroes to China. They were transported back by the Chinese Air Force, with a heartfelt welcome-home ceremony held at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport in northeast China.
This marks the 10th time that the CPV martyrs' remains have been returned from the ROK. It's a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made for peace and the enduring bond between nations. 🌏✌️
As the sun set over Shenyang, young people gathered to pay their respects, leaving flowers and messages of gratitude. \"They gave everything for our today,\" said one university student. \"We will never forget their courage.\" 🌹🕊️
The repatriation not only honors the fallen but also bridges the historical ties between China and the ROK. It's a moment that resonates deeply with many, especially the younger generation seeking to understand the past to build a better future. 🌟
