Historic Reunion: Five Zodiac Fountain Heads Return to Beijing’s Old Summer Palace

🐯🐮🐎🐒🐷 In a historic and emotional reunion, five of the legendary zodiac fountain heads have returned to their original home at Yuanmingyuan, the Old Summer Palace in Beijing! For the first time in 163 years, visitors can witness the ox, tiger, monkey, pig, and horse heads together, celebrating a rich fusion of Eastern zodiac culture and Western architectural artistry.

This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition, running until October 29, brings together the four copper statues from the Poly Art Museum and the horse head, uniting them after over a century and a half apart. These bronze masterpieces were part of a set of twelve, representing the Chinese zodiac, that adorned the imperial water fountain in Yuanmingyuan before they were tragically lost.

🌟 The exhibit not only showcases these incredible works of art but also tells a story of cultural heritage, resilience, and reunion. It's a must-see for anyone intrigued by history, art, or the magic of the zodiac animals. Don't miss this chance to be part of history and experience the beauty of these timeless treasures!
