Six years ago, Buayxam Abdureyim was a stay-at-home mom with no income, never imagining she could change her destiny. Today, she runs a thriving hair salon and mentors over 20 apprentices, empowering local women to rewrite their own life stories.
In 2017, with the support of the Women's Federation of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Buayxam seized a life-changing opportunity through the local Beauty Hair Salon program. She learned beauty therapy and hairdressing free of charge, and just a year later, she launched the first beauty hair salon studio in Qianjin Village, Naiderbagh Town, Kashi City.
