In the historic heart of Xi'an, pomegranate trees are more than just a beautiful sight—they are a living symbol of unity linking China and Central Asia.
Native to Central and West Asia, these trees have found a special home in Xi'an. Following the China-Central Asia Summit in 2023, six pomegranate trees were planted by leaders to mark a new chapter of cultural and economic exchange.
Two years later, our reporter Yang Yan visited the site to see how these branches of unity have grown. The flourishing trees now stand as a testament to deepening connections and shared hope for the future. 🌳🤝
