On Thursday night (December 25, 2025), defending CBA champs Guangsha Lions roared to their fourth straight victory with a dominant 96-64 win over the Liaoning Flying Leopards at home in Hangzhou 🦁🏀.
Guangsha set the tone early, grabbing a 23-17 Q1 lead and cruising from there. Barry Brown dropped a game-high 26 points, and four teammates hit double digits. Co-stars Sun Minghui and Lin Bingsheng fueled the breakaways with three steals each, turning defense into offense like a highlight reel 🎥.
"Defense was our foundation tonight," coach Wang Bo said. "Holding Liaoning under 20 points in three quarters shows our focus. We will keep leveling up every game."
Liaoning had an off night, missing 44 of 66 shots and coughing up 17 turnovers. Only Fu Hao and Jaylon Brown reached double-figure scoring as the Flying Leopards fell to 4-2, while Guangsha soared to 5-1.
In other action, the Shanghai Sharks boosted their record to 4-2 by downing the Jiangsu Dragons 84-68. Li Hongquan led Shanghai with 18 points, including five triples, and newcomers Brandon Goodwin, Kenneth Lofton Jr., and Kyle Fogg all poured in double digits. Jiangsu remains at 1-5.
