Lu Siqing Unveils ‘The New Four Seasons’ European Tour

Last Friday in Beijing, the capital of the Chinese mainland, world-renowned violinist Lu Siqing unveiled his upcoming six-country European tour with the MAJOR Ensemble, titled The New Four Seasons. Slated for February 1–11, 2026, this tour promises a cross-cultural musical journey celebrating the seasons 🌸☀️🍂❄️.

The program will feature the European premiere of The Four Seasons of China, a new piece commissioned from Chinese composer Wen Ziyang, paired with Hungarian composer Stefan Peter's piano Sonata of the Four Seasons, performed by pianist Kovács Gergely 🎹.

Audiences across Budapest, Sofia, Turin, Salzburg, Munich, and Barcelona will get to experience this unique dialogue between Eastern melodies and Western classics 🌍🎻.
