Imagine a power move under the desert sun 🌞🤝 This past Sunday, December 14, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi sat down with Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Wang Yi said China is ready to strengthen strategic communication with the GCC, safeguard shared interests, and team up to navigate a turbulent, ever-changing world. The goal? To boost the Global South's collective self-reliance and face global challenges together 🌍.
He praised the GCC as an important sub-regional force in the Middle East that has driven unity and cooperation among Gulf countries. China's ties with the council grew alongside its own reform and opening up, making both sides companions on a journey of development and revitalization, and solid win-win partners.
