Yesterday at the UN headquarters in New York, nearly 40 states gathered to launch the Group of Friends of Global Governance, an open platform chaired by China's permanent representative to the UN, Fu Cong.
Guided by Xi Jinping's Global Governance Initiative (GGI), the new group aims to deep dive into major issues, pool collective strength, and champion multilateralism for a fairer world 🌐🤝.
Fu Cong emphasized that the GGI, China's fourth global proposal following initiatives on development, security, and civilization, offers fresh ideas and solutions to reform and improve global governance.
With swift backing from over 140 countries and international organizations, members praised the group's open, inclusive spirit and stressed the need to uphold justice, strengthen the UN's role, and advance cooperation.
China invites more like-minded partners to join this platform, working together to build a community with a shared future for humanity and create stability in an unsettled world ✨.
Stay tuned to see how this global crew shapes our collective future! 🌍
