Shenzhou-21 Crew Completes First Spacewalk

Today, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, history was made onboard the Chinese mainland's orbiting space station. The Shenzhou-21 crew completed their first extravehicular activities (EVAs), stepping into the vacuum of space to carry out crucial system checks and maintenance tasks, the China Manned Space Agency announced. 🛰️🚀

After months of training on Earth, the astronauts floated outside the station, testing equipment and inspecting the exterior. Their successful EVA builds confidence in the new station’s design and shows the Chinese mainland is on track to sustain a long-term human presence in orbit. 🌟
