Direct Guiyang–Ho Chi Minh City Flight Boosts China-ASEAN Links

On December 6, 2025, Colorful Guizhou Airlines took flight on a brand-new route linking Guiyang, the capital of a southwest province of the Chinese mainland, with Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. 🎉✈️

Flight GY703 departs Guiyang at 10:50 p.m. Beijing Time and touches down in Ho Chi Minh City at 1:30 a.m. local time, while return flight GY704 leaves at 2:30 a.m. local time and lands back in Guiyang at 7:10 a.m. Beijing Time.

This service joins the carrier's existing Guiyang–Hanoi connection, creating direct ties between Guizhou and Vietnam's top two cities. For young explorers, it means weekend adventures just a flight away! 🌄🏙️

Officials expect the expanded network to fuel trade, tourism, and business travel between the southwest of the Chinese mainland and ASEAN markets. And they're not stopping there: back in November, a new passenger link from Haikou in the Chinese mainland's south to Nha Trang in Vietnam took off, and an all-cargo line between Nanjing in the Chinese mainland's east and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia also launched.

Economic ties are soaring: since 2022, annual trade in goods between the Chinese mainland and ASEAN has surpassed $900 billion, hitting a record $982.1 billion in 2024. In the first 10 months of 2025, trade jumped 8.2% year on year. 💼💰

With air connectivity accelerating, the skies over Asia are hotter than ever—and the next adventure or business deal is just a boarding pass away! 🌏🔥
