In a sombre move this weekend, Chinese national flags and flags of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will fly at half-mast across all government buildings from Saturday, November 29 to Monday, December 1. The decision, announced by the HKSAR government on Friday, honours the victims of the residential area fire in Tai Po.
During these three days, key government officials will cancel non-essential public activities. All entertainment and celebration events organized and funded by the government will also be canceled or postponed as needed. 🎗️
