On November 22, 2025, more than 1,000 experts from the Chinese mainland gathered in Beijing for the Fourth China Space Science Assembly. Over the next four days, they’ll explore everything from lunar missions to deep space probes. 🚀
This four-day conference features an opening ceremony, 14 invited reports, a roundtable on international cooperation, an international symposium, and nearly 50 specialized academic sessions.
During the invited reports, 14 academicians and senior experts will share updates on China’s manned space program, lunar and deep space exploration projects, space science satellite missions, and future development roadmaps.
A highlight is the roundtable on international cooperation, where panelists will emphasize that global collaboration is essential for space science breakthroughs and greater scientific impact. 🤝
The international symposium, centered on earth space observation and disaster precursor physics, brings together scientists from the United States, Russia, Poland, Chile, Peru, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and China to discuss early warning solutions for natural disasters. 🌐
Across nearly 50 thematic sessions—covering space physics, exploration, remote sensing, space optics, lunar and planetary science, space materials, life sciences, microgravity science, and space-based gravitational wave detection—participants will spark interdisciplinary dialogue and bridge research with real-world applications.
Youth academic salons, tech exhibitions, and public science lectures aim to engage the next generation of space enthusiasts and broaden public interest in the cosmos. ✨
Organized every two years by the Chinese Society of Space Research, the Assembly is the Chinese mainland’s leading event in space science, charting the future of humanity’s journey beyond Earth.
