Global Mayors Dialogue Kicks Off in Nanjing

Get ready, culture lovers! Tomorrow marks the start of the 2025 Global Mayors Dialogue in Nanjing, running from November 19 to 21. Hosted in Nanjing, in the Chinese mainland’s Jiangsu Province, this event shines a spotlight on how cultural ties can build bridges between cities worldwide 🌉🌏.

As one of the top platforms for inter-city cultural exchange, the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF) welcomed Nanjing as a full member back in 2019. Since then, the city has been actively weaving its rich history into modern conversations, connecting with peers from every corner of the globe.

Recently, Justine Simons, London’s Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries and founder of the WCCF, sent a special video greeting to participants. In her message, she praised Nanjing’s committed spirit and the power of global collaboration:

🎥 “It is really important that cities come together to collaborate and we wish you every success for a great event.”

With mayors and cultural advocates from diverse backgrounds gathering in Nanjing, expect fresh ideas, bold projects, and new friendships. Stay tuned as we follow the dialogues that could reshape the way cities connect and create! ✨🤝
