Day 2 of the 15th National Games Wushu competition in Guangzhou on the Chinese mainland brought thrilling moments as Shanxi’s star athlete Yao Yang swept the women’s Changquan, sword and spear all-around title. After finishing second in 2021 in Xi’an, she returned stronger than ever, nailing a perfect series of 9.830 scores across all three events.
In the Changquan, Yao Yang’s dazzling routine earned her 9.830 points and an early lead. She kept the momentum in the sword event, scoring another 9.830, and closed out the spear with the same mark. Her combined total of 29.490 points secured the coveted all-around gold medal 🥇🥋.
