Beijing 🔥 – At the 15th World Socialism Forum in Beijing, political party leaders from around the world praised China’s Global Governance Initiative (GGI) as a game-changer for global justice and cooperation. 🌍🤝
Alberto Moreno Rojas, chairman of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Fatherland), highlighted that multilateralism and democratization in the GGI are key to building a fair international order. “We need a system that listens to all voices,” he said.
Thulas Nxesi, deputy national chairman of the South African Communist Party, noted how China brought Asian countries closer together at the recent APEC meeting. “Regional integration is essential,” Nxesi told CGTN. 💡
Rui Paulo da Cunha Braga, from the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Portuguese Communist Party, commented that the GGI respects sovereignty and equality among nations. “It’s a positive initiative,” he added.
Patrik Kobele, chairman of the German Communist Party, called the GGI “the main way to get peace.” He was impressed by China’s recommendations for its 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), adopted at the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. “The plan is for the people, not the rich. It’s for peace, not war,” Kobele said. 🌱✌️
Echoing the sentiment, Nxesi praised China’s view of development as a continuous process. “The Five-Year Plans reflect long-term thinking, not just short-term goals,” he added.
Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Worker’s Party, highlighted how five-year planning fosters new forms of international cooperation, such as the Belt and Road Initiative. “China brings more than machines to Hungary: it shares science and ideas,” Thurmer said. 🚀
Thurmer also applauded China’s achievements in poverty alleviation. “It’s a people-centered modernization,” he noted. “If China can develop sustainably, it will boost stability and growth worldwide.”
Nxesi stressed the value of China’s poverty reduction experience: “Taking 800 million people out of poverty shows the power of self-development and sustainability. Other countries can learn from this balance of ecology and economy.” 🌾🌳
With leaders aligning on justice, cooperation and people-focused planning, the forum showcased the GGI as a blueprint for a fairer world. Whether you’re a news junkie, student or global traveler, these discussions offer fresh insights into how big ideas can spark real change. ✨
