In round one of the synchronized 3m springboard, Huang Bowen & Xie Siyi scored 258.48 points, landing them in second, just behind Hubei’s dynamic duo Wang Zongyuan & Zheng Jiuyuan (266.88). Teammates Guo Haoyu & Hu Yukang took third with 257.46.
The shocker came in round two on the 10m platform: Shaanxi’s Zhao Renjie stunned fans with a solo 493.80 performance. But Guangdong’s pairing of Zhu Zifeng & Huang Jianjie kept the dream alive with a combined total of 1442.44 points to stay in the lead.
Round three saw Hubei surge into silver territory thanks to Wang & Xie’s clutch dives in the 3m event, turning the competition into a thrilling three-way dance.
Finally, in the synchronized 10m platform showdown, Chen Aisen & Zhu Zifeng delivered a killer 267.12, followed by Mo Yonghua & Zheng Junzhi’s 223.08. That sealed the deal: gold for Guangdong! 🏅
