🚀 Ready for blast-off? China’s space roadmap for 2026 is out, and it’s stellar! The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) is gearing up to debut the Long March-10A rocket and the brand-new Mengzhou-1 crewed spacecraft.
These newcomers join three more flights: Shenzhou-22 and Shenzhou-23 manned missions, plus the Tianzhou-10 cargo resupply. Together, they’ll keep the China Space Station buzzing with activity and research.
Shenzhou-22 and -23 will launch from the Chinese mainland’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Each crew of three will reach orbit, but the Shenzhou-22 team has a mission twist—a year-long stay experiment! They’ll handle spacewalks, cargo transfers through the airlock, top-notch science experiments and even public outreach.
From another pad, the Wenchang Space Launch Site in south China’s Hainan Province will send Tianzhou-10 and Mengzhou-1 skyward. Mengzhou-1 represents a leap forward from the Shenzhou lineup, with a modular design combining a re-entry capsule and service module. Its main task: to fully validate the new system while carrying supplies, research gear and environmental monitors.
