Beijing set the stage on Thursday for a lively China-France political parties dialogue under the theme “Mutual Trust, Cooperation and Win-Win Outcomes: China-France Ties Facing the Next 60 Years.” 🎉
The meeting kicked off with Liu Haixing, the head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, laying out key takeaways from the 20th CPC Central Committee’s fourth plenary session. Liu highlighted the fast growth in China-France relations under top leadership, and invited French partners to team up on shared goals.
French attendees, spanning the Renaissance, Republican, Socialist, Horizons and Union of Democrats and Independents parties, applauded the commitment to high-standard opening up. They voiced eagerness to strengthen mutual investment, uphold strategic independence, and foster win-win development 📈🤝.
More than 40 representatives joined the discussion, including Chinese departments, think tanks, the Prospective and Innovation Foundation, officials from the French embassy in China, and members of the French business community. Together, they explored how to translate big-picture agreements into real-world projects—whether in tech, green energy, or cultural exchange.
The dialogue wrapped with a shared note of optimism: by learning from each other’s governance experiences and deepening ties, the two sides are ready to write the next chapter of China-France friendship.
