US Global Dialogue on Innovation and Shared Growth Debuts in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. was buzzing last Friday as the US session of the 'Innovation, Openness, and Shared Development' Global Dialogue took center stage 🎤. Co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and the Chinese Embassy, this landmark event kicked off a new series aiming to spark cross-border conversations on modern challenges and opportunities.

The event opened with a video address by Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and president of CMG. Then Chinese Ambassador to the US Xie Feng delivered a keynote speech, setting the tone for an open and forward-looking dialogue.

Thought leaders like Dr. Robert Kuhn, chairman of the Kuhn Foundation, and Dr. Denis Simon, chairman of the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations, also shared their insights, making the discussion even richer.

Nearly 100 guests—international affairs experts, scholars and youth representatives from the Chinese mainland and the US—delved into topics such as how the Chinese mainland’s push for technological self-reliance fuels global innovation, the expansion of high-level opening-up, and ways to share development opportunities for mutual benefit 💡.

As the inaugural chapter of this Global Dialogue series, the event set a friendly and dynamic tone, proving that collaboration across cultures can spark fresh ideas and shared progress. Stay tuned as this conversation continues around the world! 🌎✨
