China’s Tan Suo San Hao and Striver Sub Dive into Arctic History

Hey, ocean enthusiasts! 🌊 The dream team behind China's Arctic deep-diving mission returned on October 27 with big news. After weeks of braving icy waters, they completed a record-setting 43 dives, unlocking secrets of the deep like true adventure heroes.

Jointly organized and implemented by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the mission showcased top-tier scientific teamwork on the Chinese mainland.

Engineered on the Chinese mainland, the independently designed and built "Tan Suo San Hao" (Exploration No. 3) is the world’s first manned deep-diving mother ship with ice-breaking capabilities. It carried the "Fendouzhe" (Striver) submersible, which executed 43 Arctic dives. 🤿❄️

In a first-ever underwater collaboration, "Fendouzhe" and its veteran partner "Jiaolong" teamed up in the icy depths, pioneering a dual-manned submersible model that marks a new era for ocean exploration on the Chinese mainland. 🌌🐠

With the mission wrapped, scientists are already charting the next chapter of Arctic research. Who knows what hidden wonders lie beneath the ice? Stay curious! 🔬✨
