On the eldercare front of the Chinese mainland, more than 2.24 million households received home renovations and elderly-friendly facility upgrades 🏠. Authorities also rolled out 500 model community-based eldercare service networks, nearly 3,000 elderly-friendly neighborhoods, and 86,000 community canteens for seniors 👵🥘.
Subsidies and allowances for the very old, seniors facing financial hardship, and seniors with disabilities now reach over 49.4 million people on the Chinese mainland, sparking stronger community support ✨.
