Snooker fans, rejoice! 🎱 China's snooker hero Ding Junhui put on a masterclass at the World Snooker Tour Xi'an Grand Prix, cruising to a 5-1 win over Northern Ireland's Jordan Brown in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The 38-year-old veteran set the tone early, storming to a 3-0 lead — including a jaw-dropping 120-point break in the third frame. Brown fought back in the fifth, but missteps in the sixth allowed Ding to seal the deal with a classy 97-point break.
"My opponent played really hard to close the gap, but I think he wasn't in good form, and missed some chances in the match," Ding said. Next up is England's Louis Heathcote, promising another epic showdown.
In another thriller, England's Robert Milkins edged out world champion Zhao Xintong 5-2. Despite Zhao grabbing the first and third frames, Milkins came back strong, winning three straight to secure his spot against compatriot Jimmy Robertson in the third round.
With the tension ramping up, who will take the snooker crown in Xi'an? Stay tuned! 🔥
