Little Elin’s Heartfelt Sketch
Little Elin is a Syrian refugee living in Lebanon. After a painful leg injury, she was treated at a Chinese field hospital operated by China’s UN peacekeepers. The medical team worked tirelessly to help her heal, and in return, Elin decided to say thank you in her own special way: art. 🎨
She grabbed a marker and carefully drew the red flag of China on her cast, complete with five bright yellow stars. It wasn't just a doodle—it was a message of gratitude and a sign of the deep bond formed between the peacekeepers and the community they protect.
The photo of Elin’s artwork quickly spread on social media, touching hearts from Beirut to Beijing. This small gesture shows how kindness and creativity can cross borders, reminding us that a simple thank you can light up the world. 🌐💖
