Ever wondered how a handful of expert doctors can change an entire community’s health vibe? 🤔 From Sept 5–7, Xide County in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of southwest Sichuan Province in the Chinese mainland hosted a medical outreach campaign that’s breaking barriers and boosting heart health! ❤️
Organized by China Media Group’s Society and Education Program Center, the campaign titled "Lend a Hand, Build a Health Shield Together" brought six leading cardiovascular specialists from West China Hospital of Sichuan University right to Xide. The doctors offered free consultations, health education, and interactive demos on cardio care at Xide People’s Hospital, local schools, township offices, and welfare centers.
Special shoutout to the homebound seniors 🙌—they got quality doorstep checkups and personalized advice, making sure no one was left out. The team also stressed preventive moves like balanced diets, regular exercise, and stress busters to keep the heart ticking strong.
This effort builds on last year’s "Lend a Hand, Walk with Love" project, which upgraded homes for 99 families in Xide. This year, the focus shifted to leveling up grassroots medical services and spreading health know-how across the county. 🌱
