J-35 Stealth Fighter Debuts at Chinese mainland’s V-Day Parade

On September 3, the Chinese mainland’s V-Day parade shook up the military world, unveiling the J-35 stealth fighter in all its sci-fi glory 🚀. This carrier-based jet marks a major step for the People's Liberation Army Navy, shifting from coastal defense to true blue-water power.

J-35: A New Naval Star

The J-35 shares tech with its land-based twin, the J-35A, speeding up development and cutting maintenance costs. Compatible with catapult launches and ski-jump takeoffs, it's tailor-made for the Fujian, the first Chinese mainland carrier with electromagnetic catapults—a huge upgrade from past ships.

Unlike the J-15 series that focuses on tight aerial turns, the J-35 puts stealth first. Its internal weapons bay hides missiles from radar, giving it an edge in beyond-visual-range fights and the power to strike first in the skies.

More High-Tech Upgrades

The parade also spotlighted a two-seat version of the J-20S, hinting at longer missions and smarter teamwork with combat drones—showing the new 1+1>2 strategy in action. We also saw the J-15DT upgraded for electromagnetic catapults and Y-20 transports now powered by homegrown engines.

With the J-35 leading the charge, the People's Liberation Army Navy is flying into a new era of global reach and high-tech warfare 🌊✨.
