At the vibrant SCO Plus Meeting in Tianjin on Monday, President Xi Jinping laid out a clear vision for boosting global peace and stability 🌍.
He highlighted how SCO members have already:
- Signed the Treaty on Long-Term Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation 🤝
- Conducted joint security efforts to keep regional stability strong 🔒
Xi also emphasized that members should stick to non-alliance, non-confrontation and avoid targeting third parties ✌️. By working together, they can tackle shared threats and challenges head-on.
To make this happen, he called on SCO states to leverage the new Universal Center for Countering Security Threats and the Anti-Drug Centers and build a community of common security in the region.
President Xi added that, in this ever-changing world, SCO must stand as a force for stability.
