In a show of brotherly friendship, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Islamabad and called on China and Pakistan to deepen their “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership” with four guiding “always” principles. 🤝🌏
At the Sixth Round of the China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue, Wang Yi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar agreed the talks were held in a warm, collaborative atmosphere, reaching consensus on nearly every topic.
Four 'Always' Principles:
- Mutual Trust & Support: Backing each other to safeguard core interests.
- Development & Win-Win: Upgrading the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to a high-quality “version 2.0.”
- Security & Livelihood: Boosting counterterrorism cooperation and ensuring the safety of Chinese personnel and projects in Pakistan.
- People-to-People Ties: Expanding exchanges in education, youth, and culture to cement grassroots friendship.
Following recent heavy rains in Pakistan, Wang Yi also announced immediate humanitarian aid from China to support relief efforts. 💧🤗
Looking ahead, both sides plan to leverage global platforms like the Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative, champion true multilateralism, and work toward a more inclusive, multipolar world. This renewed partnership signals big steps for regional cooperation and shared growth! ✨
