China Urges Dialogue as Only Path to Resolve Ukraine Crisis

At a recent press conference, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Mao Ning said dialogue and negotiation are the only way out of the Ukraine crisis 🤝🕊️. She was responding to questions about U.S. President Donald Trump's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders at the White House.

Mao Ning stated, "China is not the creator of the Ukraine crisis, nor is it a party to the conflict. However, since day one, China has maintained an objective, impartial stance, promoting peace and facilitating talks."

China has issued a position paper outlining a political settlement, dispatched special envoys for shuttle diplomacy, and launched the Group of Friends for Peace on the Ukraine Crisis, sending a clear, impartial message of dialogue and reconciliation.

Looking ahead, Mao Ning added that China stands ready, in line with the will of the parties involved, to continue working with the international community to play a constructive role in advancing a political settlement.

Will this renewed push for talks help ease tensions and pave the way for lasting peace? We'll keep an eye on how global actors move the needle toward resolution ✨.
