🌊 What started as an adventurous outdoor night turned tragic late Saturday in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Around 10 p.m., a flash flood swept through a wild camping site along the upstream area of a river in Urad Rear Banner, Bayannur City.
The dangerous surge took 13 campers by surprise. By 10 a.m. Sunday, one person had been rescued, eight were confirmed dead, and four remained missing.
Search and rescue operations are currently underway as teams work tirelessly to find the missing campers.
