Flashback to 2015! Looking at this photo, I can hardly believe how youthful I looked during my internship at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Every day was filled with inspiring encounters with people from around the globe, each sharing unique stories and cultures. It was a time when diversity sparkled and unity was the norm 😊.
A highlight of my experience was witnessing the "Non-Violence" statue, famously known as the "Knotted Gun." Standing in front of the UN headquarters, this iconic symbol powerfully reminds us of the global commitment to reject violence and embrace peace.
Reflecting on those unforgettable days, I remain grateful for the lesson that kindness and understanding transcend borders. That period wasn’t just an internship—it was a life-changing journey celebrating global unity and the beauty of cultural diversity.
