In an energetic gathering on Thursday, over 700 young leaders and passionate participants from both sides of the Taiwan Strait converged in Beijing for the annual Cross-Strait Youth Summit.
At the opening ceremony, Song Tao, head of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, emphasized the key role that today’s youth play in driving national rejuvenation. He called on them to firmly oppose "Taiwan independence" separatism and foreign interference, and to actively engage in cross-strait exchanges and integrated development.
Ma Ying-jeou, former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, addressed the summit via video. His inspiring message encouraged young people on both sides to increase their exchanges and learn from one another, setting the stage for a brighter future for the Chinese nation.
The summit will also host a series of engaging forums and an eye-opening exhibition that merges sci-tech innovation with cultural development, offering a dynamic blend of knowledge and creativity perfect for today’s digitally savvy youth. 🌟🤝
This event not only fosters constructive dialogue but also champions unity, paving the way for a more connected tomorrow.
