Young Members Inject Fresh Energy into CPC

Recent reports highlight a dynamic shift within the Communist Party of China (CPC) as its membership grows in both size and diversity. Young, frontline members at the primary level are injecting fresh energy into the party, reinforcing its deep-rooted connection with the people.

In an interview with CGTN, expert Xia Lu—an associate professor at the School of Marxism Studies and a research fellow at the National Academy of Development & Strategies at Renmin University of China—explained that this evolving composition not only honors the CPC's historical tradition of staying close to the community but also marks a strategic adjustment to meet modern governance challenges. 💥

A report from the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee revealed that by the end of 2024, the membership had exceeded 100.27 million, up by nearly 1.09 million compared to last year. This steady expansion and the strengthening of primary-level organizations are seen as key factors in maintaining a vibrant, people-centered party structure.

The infusion of youthful vigor promises a resilient future, ensuring that the CPC remains adaptable and closely connected to everyday society as it navigates the demands of a rapidly changing world.
