China, Africa Unite to Implement FOCAC Summit Outcomes

In a dynamic gathering in Changsha, representatives from China, 53 African countries, and the African Union Commission came together on Wednesday to drive forward the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). This pivotal event marks a new chapter in building a resilient, all-weather China-Africa community.

At the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his counterpart from the Republic of Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso, read out congratulatory letters from their leaders. Chinese President Xi Jinping, in his letter, underlined the power of solidarity and unveiled measures to deepen cooperation with Africa as both sides pursue modernization. 💪

Wang Yi highlighted that the 10 partnership actions announced at the Beijing Summit have already spurred significant progress in China-Africa relations.
