In an impressive display of innovation and ambition, China's automotive sector is making waves! On Thursday, the Chinese mainland delivered the world's largest ocean-going car carrier vessel, loaded with around 7,000 new energy vehicles bound for Europe 🚗⚡.
Built by SAIC Anji Logistics, a subsidiary of SAIC Motor Corporation, this mega vessel can carry up to 9,500 vehicles and cruise at speeds of up to 19 knots. General Manager Zhuang Jingxiong shared that seven more super-large carriers will soon join the fleet, extending shipping routes to over 100 key destinations around the globe.
