Shenzhou-20 Mission Preps for Liftoff After Final Drill

China's Shenzhou-20 crewed mission is now gearing up for liftoff after a successful final full-system joint rehearsal on Tuesday. The China Media Group reported that every system passed its functional checks, with equipment operating stably and the team ready for the big launch. 🚀

During the drill, teams from the Beijing Aerospace Control Center coordinated a realistic simulation across the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the Xi'an Satellite Control Center, and auxiliary tracking stations nationwide. The exercise covered the entire launch sequence—from pre-launch setups to ignition and orbital flight—ensuring that technical parameters and operational procedures work seamlessly.

Chen Tingzheng from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center explained, "All systems, including the rocket, spacecraft and ground support equipment, are functioning optimally at the launch site." He noted that in the coming days, teams will conduct thorough pre-launch inspections and propellant loading as planned.

Meteorologists are also on alert, closely monitoring weather conditions for the targeted launch window. Zhang Fang added, "After continuous tracking and expert assessments, we confirm that launch-day weather will remain stable, meeting the minimum meteorological requirements."

With all checks complete and favorable conditions expected, excitement builds as the mission team finalizes preparations for this important step in space exploration. Stay tuned for more updates as China's journey into space continues! 🌟
